June 2002

Our FAR has arrived. This summer our full anechoic room will be evaluated and calibrated according to EN 50147-3.

This allows us for faster and still compliant testing as well as evaluation of passive constructions for EMC properties.

The room is a double shielded ( > 100 dB) Lindgren equipped with partial lining , being fully lined at the end of this year.

January 2002

Immunity testing to 200 V/m for specific equipment.

Our new Kalmus 200 W 200-400 MHz amplifier allows us for immunity testing to much higher levels as required for commercial purposes. As you may know, most immunity problems appear in this frequency range

February 1st 2001

CE-test moves to Rotterdam

Our test facilities have moved to Rotterdam. On over 200 m2 we have much more room for test facilities.

April 8th 2000   New R&TTY (99/5/EC) directive into force

Febr 16   2000 Common Modification for EN 61000-3-2 under vote.

After numerous discussions about this harmonized standard for harmonic mains current, a new proposal has been made to speed up things. This common modification should come into force before the current version becomes mandatory per 1-1-2001. It deletes the special wave shape requirement, and replaces many definitions.

feb 2000  New course schedule released for EMC and LVD.

ce-test presents a concise EMC design course in the Dutch language.  Find it  here (Dutch only).

2000-01-25  New list of Harmonized EMC-standards published

A new list of harmonized standards has been published today in the OJEC, the Official Journal of the European Community (EC). This list of European Standards and it's accompanying dates is mandatory for the application of route 10.1 of the EMC-directive in the assessment of presumption of compliance with the essential requirements of the directive.

ce-test became member of NEC/CENELEC/IEC voting committee

ce-test has become a voting member of the Dutch  NEC/CENELEC/IEC EMC-committees.. These committees actually decide upon what EMC standards are to published and finally used for showing compliance. The obvious advantage for our long-term clients is that we can inform them early about the contents of future standards, so as they can anticipate on the required tests and modify much earlier.
